Surfrider is one of the most famous longboard waves in America and likely the world. Located in Malibu, California, it is a point break with the perfect shape drawing surfers from all over the world. Its only flaw is that it is almost always crowded. This image was captured right at sunrise during an April swell. Some 50+ people were already in the water. However the vibe here is generally friendly with people from all ages and all walks of life. 70 year olds, 7 year olds, famous, anonymous, rich, poor, everyone is equal in the water.
